Katikkiro Eng J.B. Walusimbi has launched the committee to organize Kabaka’s birthday for the year 2012.

Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II will make 57 years come April 13th and his birthday is widely celebrated across Buganda  every year. Celebrations are always accompanied by prayers across the Kingdom in the different religious sects.

While launching the committee, Katikkiro disclosed that all activities for Kabaka’s birthday this year will be spearheaded by CBS radio.

The committee to be led by the minister of trade and industry in Buganda Kingdom, Kaddu Kiberu included the following members;

1.    Godfrey Kaaya Kavuma the Managing Director of CBS radio who has also been appointed at the deputy chairperson of the committee.

2.    Samalie Mwanje the minister of state for Protocol in Buganda Kingdom.

3.     H.S. Njuki under Secretary, in the office of the Katikkiro of Buganda.

4.    Robert Kasozi the Personnel Manager of CBS radio.

5.    J.B. Etuusa Accountant CBS radio

6.    Michael Kawooya Mweba the General Manager CBS radio.

7.    Abby Mukiibi the Programmes Director CBS radio.
