The Kingdom of Buganda is situated in the Central region of the country known today as Uganda. It is right in the heart of Africa astride the Equator and in the North West shores of Lake Victoria and it's also the source of the great river Nile. Buganda Kingdom is the home to the nation's political and commercial capital city Kampala as well as the country's main International airport Entebbe.

The Kingdom's equatorial climate provides plentiful sunshine which is moderated by relatively high altitude. Since it's near Lake Victoria, it's mean annual temperature ranges from 16 degrees 25 degrees Celsius. Daytime temperature averages between 8 degrees to 10 degrees Celsius warmer than night temperatures. Rainfall is evenly distributed around the area and the mean annual rainfall often exceeds 2100 millimeters. Hana Mixed School in Nsangi will be the hosts of the 2020 Ekisaakaate kya Nnabagereka, taking over from St. Joseph of Nazareth, Kavule Katende, Mawokota county.

While launching the Ekisaakaate, State minister for education, John Chryzestom Muyingo, appealed to Nnabagereka Sylivia Nagginda to organize ekisaakaate for members of parliament saying that they are worse off.

Nnabagereka stressed that there is need to emulate what the Asians do by moving with the era of technology but not forgetting their cultural norms and traditions.

Nnabagereka added that, with the fading out of disciplines, hygiene, hardwork, amongst people, Nnabagereka Development foundation found it wanting to put in place Ekisaakaate purposely to mentor, and insert good morals in the young generation in order to prepare good citizens of Uganda.

Buganda Government's spokesperson and minister for information, Kiyimba Noah, appreciated the Ekisaakaate initiative for mentoring the children with good morals that has helped the participants to define their destination.

Parents of different basaakaate gave testimonies about the changes in their children's conduct and behaviours compared to what they were before joining ekisaakaate.
